This is one of the sketches I didn't completely hate. The idea was a Spiderman that had a few basic self defence lessons from Iron Fist. Coupled with his spider sense he'd become The Unstrickable Spiderman right? Wait, that isn't even a word.

Spidey Sketch
"You drew me like a skinny nerd?! Oh wait...har, har!"
Had some nice action sketches going but drawing his annoying webbing put a stop to that. Fun character, not always fun to draw though.

A hero shall rise
Hey guys, I just wanted to show what I have been working on.This is the early roughs of my comic that I've begun making,at the moment I'm still in the scripting phase of the story, setting & characters. The current title of the comic is called The "Ostentatious" Kestrel & I hope to have finished draft of the 1st issue by the end of the month then I can focus on the designs.
These are the early designs of the titular character Krystal-Rikoa-Marinaris aka The "Ostentatious" Kestrel.

Plus here's a sample of some of the A-holes she'll be contending with

Love you to Death WIP pt 2
Is the hand fixed now kind sirs? Bit big right?
I'm also dropping a quick 30 min warm up too, I stopped halfway just in case you dudes want to point out any mistakes I'm making.
- note, I usually work really dark and pour light into it in the latter stages.
- the long necks i draw are reflex habits from my super cartooned days, sorry lol.

Keep Moving Forward

So I got a new tablet, grabbed a crappy old file from last year and started scribbling away.
A few things I noted while retouching this:
-If your working without reference it's better to use softer features.
-Keep the hair out of the way when working on the face.
-It's easier to work using a sketch that you intended to paint.
-It's generally better just to use reference anyway.
-Boobs and Tattoos remove seriousness from an image :)
Not sure where to go with this really. Any hairstyles you think would be cool, something punky? Any features look horribly wrong?
