When life knocks you down....

You get right the F£$K!up *but in my case eventually* after wondering the internet I stumbled on this gem of animation from a studio Wolf Smoke Animation out of the Peoples Republic of China.I particularly like the ending credits because the animation they use is very similar to the Odin Sphere game.

also here's a quick sketch of the deadly delta Red.

Shadow Gif update

how does this look? still too fast?

edit 1: ugh, it's still too fast. I think blogger has something to do with the speed up of the animation. Lets try uploading it a different way.

edit 2: okay, now it wasn't moving at all. ffffffffffffffff

edit 3: maybe it moves faster on Firefox? I just looked at it in IE and it moves just right...

edit 4: yep, it's firefox that's the culprit. If you want to see the image at the proper speed, you gotta see it in Internet Explorer.

Further animation studies

Further workings on my Shadow and Shade animation. There will be more hair bounce at the end but other than that, what do you guys think? I gotta tell ya, there's a lot of work that goes into this sort of stuff. It's getting harder for me to sit down and work on it now because of it but once I get Shade into the mix, it should be fun again. It'll be interesting drawing two people interacting... on second thought, I think it'll just get harder. bah, we'll see how it goes when I get to it.

oh wow, btw, how fast is it going for you guys? like, way too fast?

Animation update

I haven't done much from the last time because of a new commission but this is just what I've got so far. Don't worry, all the lines from the key frames will be cleaned up. But yay! Shadow has bouncy hair. Just wait till I get to Shade, she'll have even more to bounce :D

Animation?

hey guys, soooooo... yeah, how does this look? These are about 5 frames apart and I'm planning on doing the whole in between process as well but I wanted to get your take on whether or not this is a good start. Is it too fast? Too slow? Just right? Is it missing something in one of the frames? Should I change something in the image to make it flow better? It was going to be much longer but I'm just going to stop right here and finish what I have first. I need all your impute dudes!
