One of my first attempts with copics. Used paint though to fill in the black of the background and over lips since I didn't have pinks and they originally came out too gothy when I used black and red x-X My favorite part is the shading on the legs with the fish nets >w> Hope you enjoy! ^-^

Did I ever mention I love drawing powerful women? Prelimary sketch for Black Canary art jam.

I never formally introduced myself. What my art style is. What my influences are. What my goals are.

I've done a combination of traditional and digital art in the past, but for the past couple years, my main medium has been drawing and paints. My style would be closest to realism, mainly because that's how I was always taught, so I just incorporate that into what I want to do.

I guess I'd have to say most of my influences are from my three favorite things in the world--movies, music, and anime.

I've also started getting into making some cosplay props like the longinus lance and Kalyna Ann from paper mache and cardboard and tape and paint and STUFF-- but don't think that art media would suite this blog lol :P

At the moment, my goal is simple, to get into the swing of things and just start creating. It would be nice to eventually be able to create a web comic, but at the moment I just don't have the time, and my form of media takes hours to do. Not to mention, when I've tried to draw the people my characters are based off of, I feel I fail to the fullest extent--probably because I have the goal to make a glorified version of these people, and am not meeting my own expectations and partially in the fact that I just tend to draw girls more than guys, or guys with feminine looks to them.

Belated Batman Beyond Art Jam

Ahhh! Sorry this is a little late *so embarrassing* April was a busy month for me (finishing term research paper ontop of cosplay @ Anime Boston ^^;;;). But I'd just hate to have spent the past couple days working on this and not share it.


I just love a good love triangle--Dana Tan (the main love interest/on again-off again girlfriend), Terry (Batman), and Melanie Walker (aka Ten--similar to Black Cat from Spiderman imo). Acrylics on paper.

Beyond Batman: Batman Beyond (Update)

(Update) I added the bat symbol, belt and some of Chucko's smile.

I've always liked the Jokers. The idea that gangs of the future would mimic one of Batman's most icon enemies was just perfect. The fat one doesn't seem to get much love ( and this picture isn't helping ) but I had to draw him in there. I wanted a nice powerful shot of Batman taking down a big dude with a lot of oomph behind it. I was debating between this or Batman choking him over the side of a rooftop. Or holding him by his ankles.
