Animation?

hey guys, soooooo... yeah, how does this look? These are about 5 frames apart and I'm planning on doing the whole in between process as well but I wanted to get your take on whether or not this is a good start. Is it too fast? Too slow? Just right? Is it missing something in one of the frames? Should I change something in the image to make it flow better? It was going to be much longer but I'm just going to stop right here and finish what I have first. I need all your impute dudes!

  2. Hopefully you're right. I'm going to start the tweening process (all the in between images)and see how smoothly it flows. It'll still be rough until I'm happy with the way it looks in motion and then I'll do final lines.

  3. Oh, and I only started this at the beginning of the week, lol. So it wasn't hidden anywhere for very long.

  4. WOOOW, a key framed animation!! Your full of surprises!

All you need is a few frames at the end holding shadow's pose. And maybe speeding it up. Looking at this with 0.08 between each frame will help you get a good sense of the final timing.

    Steller!!

  5. right now I have it set at a .5 frames a second since it's every 5th frame and that would make the end result move at 10 frames a second once I set all the in between parts, which should be okay, right?

I'll add a frame or two so that shadow stays in for just a moment longer before she's forcefully ejected.

  6. Yeah, should be just fine.

What you using to do this by the way, Image ready or Flash?

  7. lol, I'm using Image Ready to make it a gif image but I just got hold of Flash CS5 (plus several other CS5 programs) and I'm now using that to test out the animation. So far, I've done the line work to Shadow's head turning and it looks fantastic. The hair makes me smile.
