I'd say just go with it dude. I think it looks perfectly fine. Unless these are the final inks. In which case I'd erase the lines behind the eye spots near the top of the head and you should also clean up the lines in the middle of his chest. Love the meaty tongue btw~
Love it love it love it. A few last touches to make it perfect would be to either A) Have the teeth poking the tongue as the tongue worms its way over them or B) Have the teeth lean with the tongue, almost cradling it as it curves out.
Also, make sure that the tongue doesn't get any thicker at the end than at any other part of it.
Lastly, and this is just a personal thing, I enjoy drawing my veins with only the top side of the vein fully drawn and then on the under side I draw small choppy lines to indicate that it's bulging, and I further emphasize that by making sure I draw the bulge around the curves of my characters so that you can see the vein almost wrapping around the corner. http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y85/Teapot-phx/Venom.png
Oh, and btw, I freaking love what you did with the eyes. I'll have to steal that bit of detail the next time I draw him.
I must apologize, I sorrta hijack an image when I start giving my two cents. But I always try to tailor my comments to help emphasize the style of the other person rather than myself.
Phenomenal Inks dude, just stunning.
ReplyDeleteThanks man, and thanks for advice.

ReplyDeleteAre we talking The parts of the eyes that trail off his head, or something different? I think I can fix it either way.
