Crap-kuma


not particularly happy with this Akuma sketch, but I don't want to abandon it. Any pointers before I go forward?

  4. I agree with the enlarging the hands comment.

    Also, he seems a tad delicate overall? Perhaps grabbing his body and free-transforming it so it's slightly larger in proportion to his head will give him a meatier/more muscular/sturdier vibe?

    Really cool pose, though. Looking good!

  5. Personally, I think a lithe Akuma could work just fine. Musculature is all about style and personality. In the game, Akuma is quick and powerful but can't take too many hits himself. Even though I have my own way of drawing Akuma, I personally approve of this style and encourage it.
